Step 3 - Compiling

This step details compiling the .hxc to .hxs using the Microsoft Help 2.0 Compiler (hxcomp.exe).

In the output directory, c:\rwoutput at the command prompt:
```
   hxcomp -p d3d8.hxc -l log.txt  
```
- hxcomp - Microsoft Help 2.0 Compiler
- -p d3d8.hxc - hxc file
- -l log.txt - log file
In the c:\rwoutput directory, hxconv has compiled the .hxc and created the following files:
- hxi - Microsoft Help Compiled Index, for example, d3d8.hxi. The .hxi is equivalent to .chi.
- hxs - Compiled Microsoft Help file, for example, d3d8.hxs. The .hxs is equivalent to .chm.
